This Christmas I gave candle snuffers to my family and friends packaged with a custom holiday pillar candle. Do you have a candle snuffer but never remember to use it? Do you think like I did, that it isn’t really something you need to have? It’s important to know that a candle snuffer will help you to safely extinguish the flame on your candles as well as help to prevent the candle’s wick from drifting into the wax. You should never blow out your pillar candles or pinch them with your fingers because wax can splash and become uneven around the wick. And more importantly, you can burn yourself this way. My mom always puts sprigs of holly and evergreen on her fireplace mantle, along with our custom holiday pillar candles. It always looks so festive. I put little sprigs of holly next to my bathroom sinks and around the base of candles. Of course they also look nice tied to the top of your holiday napkins.
